Hi, I’m Krim.

I’ve been drumming for 25 years and teaching for 15, helping students of all ages (7 and up) develop their skills—whether they’re working towards Trinity College, Trinity Rock & Pop, or Rockschool exams, or just playing for fun. My lessons are tailored to each student because I believe there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to learning music.

I hold Grade 8 in Drum Kit, Snare Drum, and Timpani, along with Grade 6 Orchestral Percussion and Grade 5 in Alto Saxophone, Piano, and Music Theory.

After studying at BIMM in Brighton with some amazing teachers like Steve White (Paul Weller, Style Council), Andy Nixon, Vinnie Lammie and Andy Maclure , I spent nine years teaching with the Lincolnshire Music Service before taking over Shug Studios in 2019, where I now teach full-time.

I’ve played in bands since I was twelve, covering everything from originals and covers to orchestras, jazz, function, and tribute bands. Currently, I drum for Soaper, a grunge/math rock duo with my husband, Fish, and dep for Ultra 90s vs 2000s, Planet Abba, and more.
